Improving Outcomes and Cutting Costs With Technology:
Models for Success From Project RED

If you missed the August 5 webinar or would like to experience it again, you may replay the webinar or download the presentation.

Schools are facing unprecedented challenges: expectations are being raised, while budgets are under severe stress. The challenge and the opportunity are to increase learning effectiveness while improving operational and budgetary efficiencies. Technology is uniquely positioned for this purpose, and in this live one-hour session you’ll hear how.

Participants heard from two superintendents who talked about the creative technology initiatives they have implemented in their districts and how they are providing cost savings while also contributing to student success:

  • How tough financial times inspired new thinking in Walled Lake Consolidated School District
  • How teachers became producers of content and personalized teaching and learning in Vail School District

Technology expert Jeanne Hayes, gave a "sneak peek" into findings from the soon-to-be-released Project RED. This first-of-its-kind study is based on a survey of nearly 1,000 school principals and technology coordinators and investigates technology’s role in improving student achievement and its impact on cost savings.
