Specifically, for the purposes of this survey, ubiquitous technology is defined as each student and teacher having one Internet-connected wireless computing device for use both in the classroom and at home—24/7. The study does not include computers on mobile carts and other occasionally one-to-one solutions (also referred to as one-to-one computing).
