MDR News Alert: Hurricane Updates

We have prepared a list of schools, districts, colleges, day cares, and libraries* in ZIP Codes where mail service has been interrupted by the USPS as a result Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. Since we first posted these updates in September, the USPS has resumed service in several of the hurricane-affected areas. Please review the list closely to learn of areas in which you may want to begin sending mailings. In planning your mail campaigns, MDR recommends that you suppress the institutions still impacted by the hurricanes from your mailings. MDR will suppress these institutions from list orders free of charge until further notice.

For existing MDR data lease customers: This list contains the MDR PID number so you can easily match the affected institutions to those on your MDR lease file. Please feel free to use this listing to suppress your in-house customer files as well. If you need assistance, please contact your MDR Representative at 800-333-8802.

*NOTE: This listing includes all institutions in areas where USPS service has been interrupted and does not reflect actual open/close status. MDR will release details on each institution as more information becomes available.
