Joins Industry Thought Leaders to Launch America’s Digital Schools Survey |
| Shelton, CT, January 12, 2006 – MDR today announced support of a national survey effort in collaboration with education leaders Jeanne Hayes of the Hayes Connection and Tom Greaves of the Greaves Group, along with industry partners Pearson Education and Discovery Education. America’s Digital Schools 2006, a national survey of U.S. public school districts, will provide significant insight into the future of digital learning and progress in meeting the National Education Technology Plan’s goal for creating schools with ubiquitous computing and digital content. With support from the National School Boards Association (NSBA), the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), the State Education Technology Directors (SETDA), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the results will be widely read and used at the international, national, state, and local policy levels. “MDR is pleased to be supporting this effort with Jeanne Hayes and Tom Greaves, as well as the other valued partners sponsoring this study,” said Fady Khairallah, General Manager at MDR. “Given our collective expertise and relationships with industry leaders, we believe this survey will broadly inform and influence policy makers, educators, and the education vendor community to create a positive impact on student achievement.” The survey will launch this month and will continue through February. MDR leverages over 35 years of expertise in data collection and market analysis to support the effort, providing comprehensive public school and district data for survey contact and analysis; conducting phone interviews; supporting survey design, report creation, printing, and distribution. Copies of the report will be provided to survey participants and will be available for sale to the public this summer. For more information visit:
