to Launch School Funding Alerts Shelton, CT, October 28, 2005 -- MDR, a Company of D&B, announced today the launch of School Funding Alerts, a Web-based sales and marketing lead service that tracks state and federal grant opportunities and awards. The product is first in a portfolio of new and expanded sales solutions that will be launched in 2006. Leveraging 35+ years of developed expertise in building leading education data solutions, MDR will help customers navigate the maze of funding opportunities available from federal and state government sources as well as private foundations and organizations.
"We are excited to bring this dynamic funding lead product to our customers," said Fady Khairallah, General Manager of MDR. "With the significant changes in federal and state funding as a result of No Child Left Behind, our sales and marketing customers have looked to MDR for guidance on how to find their best prospects and where to focus their resources within states and districts. We’ve reviewed the funding resources available to customers today and see how challenging it is to chase these opportunities. Our sales solutions give MDR customers the leads they need to act quickly and see positive sales results." School Funding Alerts provides a new type of sales lead that complements MDR’s proven School Directory products currently available on the Web. Additional Web-based tools that support sales professionals in monitoring ongoing opportunities in school systems will be added to the MDR portfolio in 2006. To learn
